Wordtrails #25 Snirt

Learned a new word the other day, SNIRT. It is a combination of snow and dirt, so very suited to the season we find ourselves in. Snirt-half way between snow and dirt is a great word. The beginning sounds like a sneer and the end sounds like a promise. Spring is the fickle season that sometimes sneers at our expectations for warmer sunny weather. However, you know it must be coming if the cats are tracking in mud. Yeah Spring.
