Wordtrails #11 Protecting Your Money
Travel is expensive enough without having your hard earned cash go missing. A couple of tips that you might not have thought about are:
Wear a money belt containing most of your cash, credit cards, passport and driver’s license BUT keep a small amount of spending money is a secure pocket. This will save you from too obviously digging into your money belt in a public place.
Visit ATMs in the daytime, preferably those located in the bank lobby. If you have to use a more open ATM, persuade a friend to stand facing the street and pedestrians to guard your space.
